BAHAWALPUR – Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said on Sunday that chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Fazlur Rehman is an agent of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif while instructed the workers to be ready to flock the roads.
Khan addressed a rally in Bahawalpur today along with Secretary General of PTI, Jahangir Tareen and chief of Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed.
Imran Khan said that difference of opinion is the beauty of democracy.
He said that PTI’s sit-in in Islamabad in 2014 gave the nation a perspective. He vowed to put alleged corrupt leaders of the country behind bars after coming in power in General Elections 2018.
While talking about Panama Leaks case, Khan said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has become an expert in corruption in the past 30 years. He said that Sharif family never confessed to ownership of Mayfair flats but the premier has been trapped after Panama Leaks.
He said that Nawaz Sharif bought Mayfair flats in London in Maryam s name using funds that were pocketed through corruption. Khan said that emails that hold great importance in Panama Leaks case show Sharif family s names.
He said that opposition parties could have struggled for over 200 years in vain to prove Sharif family s corruption but Panama Leaks made the task possible.
Khan critcised Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif by recalling his alleged statement over Panama Leaks that it was not an issue of Pakistanis.
