Mardan: Institute for Cultural and Civic Education (nonprofit able organization) with the collaboration of Directorate of Culture KP arranged a Pashto poetry recitation session on Sunday at Koho Barmol Tahsil Katlung under the Revival of Cultural Heritage Program (RICH). This was the first ever poetry recitation session in village Kohi Barmol. The prominent poet Akmal Lewani preside the event while the Naib Nazim Inam Shah Inam conducted the stage proceeding. Akmal Lewany, Inam Shah Inam,Fazal Karim Parwana, Naseem Shah, Nawab Khan, Abdur Rahman Afghan, Wasee Ur Rahman, Azam Khan Lihaz and others young poets presented their piece of poetry. On the occasion The speakers Akmal Lewany, Inam Shah Inam, Youth Activist Tariq Mahmood and Program Manager of ICCE Muhammad Sadiq Ameen said that this the first ever Pashto poetry recitation session in village Kohi Barmol. They appreciated the ongoing revival project of Directorate of Culture Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This the only way to revive our real culture and folklore the speakers said. At the stage of the event the management of the event distributed appreciation certificates among the poets.
