TORONTO – A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) air-hostess was nabbed in Canadian city of Toronto over thievery charges.

According to details, the air-hostess was allegedly stealing items in a departmental store in Toronto.

PIA spokesman confirmed that police had arrested the airliner’s stewardess on charges of thievery with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the store.

The staff member had reached Toronto from Lahore via flight PK-797 and was scheduled to return to Pakistani city of Karachi via flight PK-784.

She will be produced before a court in Toronto on Monday (Today) whereas Canadian authorities are expected to the captain of the flight over the incident.
