Kapil Sharma, next time you throw a shoe at Sunil Grover – here is his shoe size!
Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma have parted ways, and it doesn’t look like they going sort their differences out. Who knew we would see this day? We are still hearing stories and developments about their mid-air fight. Now, with no signs of reconciliation, Sunil has posted a very cryptic photo on his Instagram.
Sunil certainly knows how to take digs at others. We have seen it several times on The Kapil Sharma Show, when he broke the character and hurled a few comebacks at Kapil, and sometimes at guests. His use of words has often left Kapil looking for a burnol on sets. Adding on to the list is his latest Instagram post, where the focus seems to be on his shoe. In case you did not know, Kapil had hurled a shoe at Sunil on a flight which led to their fall out. Sunil captioned his picture with his shoe size, “US 10”. As they say, a word to the wise is sufficient.
Kapil has received a diktat from Sony Entertainment Channel to mend his ways, and get his crew back on board within a month. But from the looks of this post, that is sure not happening. Meanwhile Kapil is continuing to shoot for TKSS sans his original team. Recently, Parineeti Chopra was on the show as guest, and helped Kapil croon the song “Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin” which also seemed like a subtle message for his ex-friends.
Amidst this fight, there are reports that Colors is trying to get Sunil on-board. But Sony that has the rights on his famous characters, Rinku Bhabhi and Dr Mashoor Gulati is deciding to have a show with these characters. A source told DNA, “They are planning to invest in Sunil now for a different show altogether. Ever since the fight happened, even rival channel Colors (who have a long standing issue with Kapil) has approached Sunil for a show but he has not signed anything. Sony has rights to his characters — Rinku bhabi and Dr Mashoor Gulati— and they also earn a chunk of money from his live shows where he performs in his avatars…So they might have a show with these characters.”
